Context
iObeya is mostly used on large touchscreens and desktops. The need of having a mobile version of the application has become a priority for the majority of users.
Objectives
Have a first version of the application that helps users to manage their actions & tasks in mobile context
Explore other use cases in mobile contexts
Responsibilities
✔️ Design the UX and UI of iObeya mobile ✔️ Work on the roadmap and prioritize the scope of functionalities of the product ✔️ Build the design system
Team
1 Product manager, 4 Developers, 1 Tester, 1 Scrum master, 1 Designer, 1 Design Lead (myself 🙋🏾♂️)
The first thing to do was to understand the business context behind the project, the business goals and the user problem we wanted to solve. This step was crucial in order to get the team and the business stakeholders aligned on the right problem.

The Lean UX Canvas is one of my favourite tool to create alignment with teams on a project or initiative. We adapted the original canvas to the need of the team by adding a few more cells such as "Use cases covered" or "Constraints".
<aside> 💡 Hypothesis statement We believe that an increase of the user adoption will be achieved if the operators and office workers can access iObeya information and their tasks anywhere, anytime with a mobile app

Right from the beginning of this project, I took the opportunity with the team to launch the research phase with a Design Sprint.*

(*) The Design Sprint is a step-by-step process that help teams to test and validate ideas with a tangible prototype in 1 week.
In that way, we were able to put a high-fidelity prototype in the hands of the users and get answers to important questions and clear directions for a MVP.
